Owner and Creator, Essay Owl
I take the time to get to know each student - learn what makes them tick - and help develop that into a well-organized, insightful essay that will reflect their unique voice. My background in communications and marketing gives me insight into helping students identify and convey their strengths and personality.

I worked professionally as a proofreader and advertising copywriter specializing in direct mail, print ads and catalog writing. My clients included Procter & Gamble, Merrill Lynch, Chrysler, Valvoline and Tyco Toys.
​
I have a BA in English from Bucknell University and an MBA from Boston University.

I love great books, great writing and challenging crossword puzzles. If you’re looking for my faults, I’m something of a neat freak and grammar tyrant. I love spotting typos!

I’ve lived in Wilton, CT for 17 years and have raised two daughters here.
